Emily is strong as anything - rolling now (mostly) from back to belly and back again (with a little assistance)...I think her first word was 'Da' but I'll hold out for more proof... (ha ha) she almost says something that sounds like 'hi' and always has a precious smile anytime you look her in the eye- she is a truly sweet soul. She loves it when anyone sings to her, or in front of her (especially her brother, who can do no wrong in her eyes these days- however, see me again in 13 years.....)
Doggies are doing great. Pipey turns 7 on March 24th (I truly cannot believe this...I remember picking him out at 12 weeks old). Chiefy is back to digging big holes in the yard....probably trying to recover the bones he buried thru the years.... I'm running them a few miles at least 2-3x per week these days....and they get to the park at least once per week. Pipey seems to be slowing down and toning down a bit... which kinda makes me sad.
I'm back to teaching and working the floor at a couple of different places ....and Michael has been flying contract flights to keep things together... he has a few fabulous perm opportunities right now....just hoping one of these results in where he chooses to be next.
I am reminded this afternoon, as Pawpaw (Mike's dad) comes over to drop off items for our neighborhood garage sale and spends about 45 minutes with Chase reading and attempting to help me get him down for a nap, how blessed we are - these are not just little things. These are the moments that matter.
